Terms of Service
Effective date: September 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of TikTomato — the website at tiktomato.com and the TikTomato iOS app. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Your account
You need an account to restore photos. You can sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for the accuracy of the email address you give us.
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
2. Credits
TikTomato runs on credits, not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically and there is nothing to cancel.
- New accounts receive free credits, and a monthly free allowance.
- You can buy additional credits at the prices shown before purchase.
- Purchased credits do not expire. Free monthly credits expire at the end of the month they were granted; when you spend credits, the ones expiring soonest are used first.
- Each restoration costs a fixed number of credits, shown before you submit.
- Failed restorations are refunded automatically. If a task fails, the credits reserved for it are returned to your balance.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for money.
3. Payment and refunds
Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe. Purchases in the iOS app are processed by Apple.
In-app purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us. Request a refund through Apple; we cannot issue it on your behalf. If Apple refunds a purchase, the corresponding unused credits are removed from your balance.
For purchases made on the website, contact us at hi@tiktomato.com. Where we grant a refund, unused credits from that purchase are removed; credits you have already spent are not clawed back.
4. Your photos
You keep ownership of every photo you upload. You grant us only the rights needed to run the service: to store your photo temporarily, send it to an AI processing provider, generate the restored result, and deliver it back to you.
You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo and to have it processed.
The photo you upload and the restored result are both deleted after 30 days. Save the ones you want to keep — we cannot recover them afterwards.
We do not use your photos to train models.
5. What the service produces
Restoration is performed by AI models. Results vary with the condition of the original, and may contain details the model inferred rather than recovered. Review a result before relying on it, publishing it, or presenting it as an accurate record.
We do not guarantee any particular quality of result. Credits are consumed by the processing itself, so a result you are unhappy with is not by itself grounds for a refund — but if something went wrong, write to us.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use TikTomato to:
- upload photos you have no right to use;
- process images of other people in ways that would violate their privacy or rights;
- create material that is unlawful, sexually explicit involving minors, harassing, or deceptive about real people or events;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service; or
- resell or redistribute the service itself.
We may refuse or stop processing content that violates these rules.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We may also update these terms; when a change matters, we will update the effective date and give notice where reasonable. Prices and credit costs may change, but changes never affect credits you have already purchased.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any restoration will meet your expectations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data — including restored photos you did not save before they were deleted.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
10. Termination
You may stop using TikTomato at any time and delete your account from within the app or the website. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining credits.
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are broken, if required by law, or to protect the service and its users.
