Where automatic cutouts struggle
The model decides what the main subject is and where its edge runs. Some images make that hard.
- Fine hair, fur and smoke may lose detail or keep a little of the old background.
- Glass, water and other see-through objects are hard to separate from what is behind them.
- When the subject and background share colours, or several subjects overlap, check the edges before using the result.

What do I get back?
A PNG with a transparent background. The chequered pattern you see on the page marks the transparent area; it is not part of the file.
When should I choose Person or Product?
Auto works for most photos. If the image is clearly a portrait or a product shot, choosing that option usually gives cleaner edges around hair or packaging.
How much does it cost?
Each image costs 1 credit, and new accounts receive free credits. The cost is shown on the button before you submit.
What image formats can I upload?
