TikTomato ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TikTomato platform (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
Information We Collect
Content You Upload
When you use the Service to generate or restore images, we collect:
- Images and other files you upload — including personal photographs you submit for restoration or editing
- Generated results — the output produced from your input
Uploaded content is transmitted to the AI providers listed under Third-Party Services for the sole purpose of fulfilling your request.
We do not use your uploaded content or generated results to train AI models. We do not publish them as examples, use them in marketing, or share them with anyone other than the providers required to process your request.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication and communication
- Name — used for display purposes
- OAuth data — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your basic profile information. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real one
Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Generated content metadata — model used, timestamps, credit consumption
- API usage — request counts, endpoints accessed
- Device information — browser type, IP address (for rate limiting and security)
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe on the web and by Apple In-App Purchase in our iOS apps. We do not store your credit card information. The privacy policy of the respective payment provider applies to payment data.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Process transactions and manage your credits
- Send important service notifications
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Improve our Service
Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- Uploaded content and generated results are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Save anything you want to keep before then
- Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days
You can delete an individual item at any time from within the app, and deleting your account removes your uploaded content and generated results along with it.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all communications
- Hashed passwords (never stored in plaintext)
- Regular security audits
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — payment processing (web)
- Apple — authentication (Sign in with Apple) and payment processing (In-App Purchase)
- Google OAuth — authentication
- Cloudflare — CDN and security
- AI model providers — image and video generation
Each provider has their own privacy policy governing data they process.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Update your account information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data
